EWOFS 2027 provides the opportunity for sponsorship initiatives of companies/institutions that wish to increase their visibility within the fiber optic/optics sensing community.

There are three main sponsorship categories: Gold, Silver and Regular Sponsorship of Events in the Workshop.

The Workshop will include an Exhibition event where companies/institutions with activity in optical fiber sensing and optical fiber technology in general can show their latest products/initiatives.

22 exhibition booths are available. The booths G1, G2, G3 are reserved Gold sponsors and S1, S2, S3 and S4 are reserved Silver sponsors. These booths have dimensions have 3×2 m. Also, R7 to R15 are regular ones.

Gold Sponsorship

The value associated to this sponsorship category is €6 000

It includes the following benefits:

Two individual full Conference registrations
One Exhibition Booth at privileged location, dimensions 3x2m
Display of Sponsor Logo on the Conference Screen
Large Sponsor Logo on Conference proceedings
Large Sponsor Logo on Conference website
Gold time slot (7 minutes) in the Exhibitor´s Plenary Session
Inclusion of Sponsor promotional literature in the participant’s courtesy bags
Inclusion of Gold Sponsor Logo of the Conference in the Sponsor website.

Silver Sponsorship

The value associated to this sponsorship category is €4 000

It includes the following benefits:

One individual full Conference registration
One Exhibition booth at privileged location, dimensons 3x2m
Sponsor Logo on Conference proceedings
Sponsor Logo on Conference website
Silver time slot (5 minutes) in the Exhibitor´s Plenary Session

Regular Sponsorship

Regular Best Exhibitor – R1 to R6

The value associated to this sponsorship category is €3.000

It includes the following benefits:

One Exhibition Space, dimensions 3×1,5 m
Preferential spot
Exhibitor Logo on Conference proceedings
Exhibitor Logo on Conference website
Display of Exhibitor Logo on the Conference Screen
Time slot (3 minutes) in the Exhibitor´s Plenary Session

Regular Exhibitor – R7 to R15

The value associated to this sponsorship category is €1.500

It includes the following benefits:

One Exhibition Space, dimensions 3×1,5 m
Exhibitor Logo on Conference proceedings
Exhibitor Logo on Conference website
Display of Exhibitor Logo on the Conference Screen
Time slot (3 minutes) in the Exhibitor´s Plenary Session

To book an exhibition booth please note the following steps:

Complete all sections of the Booking Form indicating your choice of Exhibition booth (please note that space is allocated on a first come, first served basis)
The booking will be acknowledged by e-mail and the invoice issued. The payment is required within 30 days.
An Exhibitor’s Pack info will be sent by the end of july 2027.

Additional sponsorship opportunities can be combined by contacting the Organizing Committee to ewofs27@ua.pt. The sponsorship of individual coffee breaks, lunch or dinners are available. The sponsor will have special visibility of the company logo and brochures during the event.

Exhibition Installation and Timetable

Exhibition Spaces will be ready for exhibitors to set up stands and/or banners in the morning of 7th September from 9 am to 2 pm.

All stands must be ready by 2 pm on September 7th for the Exhibition Opening at 3 pm. They also shall be removed till 5 pm on September 10th.

The Exhibition is open to Workshop delegates from 3 pm to 7 pm (on Tuesday, 7th September), from 9 am to 6 pm on Wednesday-Thursday (8th-9th September), and from 9 am to 1 pm on Friday, 10th September.

Any active equipment on the tables will be required to be safe and comply with the appropriate Health and Safety Standards.
