EWOFS Paper Presentation & Publication Policy

Each registered attendee is allowed to present up to two papers (poster presentations).

The Accompanying Person Registration Fee Includes

• Tour and Gala Dinner on 9th September 2027 

• This registration does not give you access to participate in the Workshop Program.   

 

Cancellation of Registration and Refunds

• Cancellations must be made by email to the address

• The appropriate refunds will be made after the end of the conference.

• Cancellations by 15 june 2027 – Full refund, minus 10% for handling fees.

• Cancellations after 15 june 2027 – No refund will be made

• Request for cancellation of the registration should be made to the secretariat via email to maria.j.coelho@abreu.pt

• All Registration must be completed on the official website. 

• Participants are strongly encouraged to register before the early bird to take advantage of the discounted registration fees. 

• All registration fees are quoted in Euro (€) 

• Payment in any other currency will not be accepted. 

• Depending on the payment method, either the proforma invoice or the credit card receipt will be attached. The attached PDF is the original document and the only copy that will be issued. 

• Payment is due within at least 15 days from the pro forma invoice date.

• Credit cards are accepted and can be made through the online services on a secured server.   

 

Bank Transfer

• Bank charges must be paid by the participants in addition to the registration fees. Please make sure to indicate the Congress name plus the full participant’s name. 

• Invoices with an address in the European Union should be provided with a VAT Number. The invoicing address and VAT number can only be set up during the registration process. 

• Enter the desired billing address – you can either use your main contact information or use an alternative address (e.g., if your institution is funding your registration).   

 

Proof of Enrollment for Students

• Please verify by uploading during online registration a scanned copy of your valid student ID card or an official certificate from your Academic Institution. 

• The document must be added to your online registration form after you select the student fee category. 

• Once your registration process is completed, you will receive an automatic e-mail confirming that your registration process was successfully completed.   

 

Cancellation of the Meeting

• The EWOFS 2027 and PCO reserves the right to cancel the meeting, shift venue, or change dates without notice, in case of "force majeure". Neither EWOFS 2027 nor the PCO shall be liable for any damage claims (including without limitation, war, strikes, floods, governmental restrictions, power, telecommunications or internet failures, or malicious damage).   

 

Liability Waiver

The safety and well-being of our attendees is our top priority. The EWOFS 2027 organizers are committed to providing a safe environment for the event and will make every reasonable effort to do so. 

However, as an attendee, participants are strongly advised to arrange their own travel, health, and cancellation insurance in the unfortunate case of having to cancel the meeting participation and/or travel and/or hotel accommodation because of illness or other (personal) circumstances. Neither EWOFS 2027, the board meeting nor the Local Organizing Committee or any of their officers, agents, employees or representatives assume any liability whatsoever. 

The official abstracts and registration services for EWOFS 2027 are provided by Abreu Events.
